Description

Springbrook Encore has a lovely temperament, straight action and has performance throughout his bloodlines. He is a comfortable and willing horse to ride.

His sire’s full brothers, Springbrook Hightide and Springbrook Tsunami are both proven polocrosse horses at the highest level.  They have been in winning sides at national polocrosse competitions and won positional and ASH pony awards respectively. Additonally they both have won best pony awards at club, zone and state levels. His sire was Blacklock Mikado who has sired some successful high level eventers as well as campdraft, show and polocrosse horses.

His dam had limited competition experience as she was injured as a 3 year old, however she has played a couple of carnvals of polocrosse and done one north west trip campdrafting where she placed twice. She has produced some excellent foals.  Her sire was Comara Abbey Swap who has sired many proven polocrosse and campdraft horses.

His 3 full sisters are now playing good polocrosse in winning sides, and have won “best pony” prizes. All have placed in all their ASH futurity outings – one won the overall 2014 4 year old ASH futurity. They have attended Pony Club and its associated competitions, successfully competed in gymkhanas, showjumping, campdrafting, team penning, tentpegging and participated in displays (with a visiting Light Horse troop).

Encore would suit someone looking for a horse that is athletic, good natured and is quick on its feet. Several of his 1/2 siblings have proven to jump well, complete endurance, and have had sucess in challenges, bush gymkhanas, barrel racing, polocrosse and campdrafting.
