Veterinarian, Dr Deryck Tan, is passionate about equine dentistry and can provide advanced dentistry services including extractions.

Deryck is one of a few Equine Dental Veterinarians in WA raising the standard of dental care in horses. Horses rarely show signs of oral pain and will often continue to eat despite severe oro-dental pathology. Cursory examinations often miss these so Deryck examines the mouth in detail utilising dental mirrors and illumination, with the sedated horse in a purpose-built crush. Quite often, oro-dental problems detected early have a higher chance of successful treatment hence the importance of regular Veterinary Dentistry.
