​Harry is a friendly 22yr old Welsh X. I have had Harry for 10 years and he has given me a lot of joy.  He is quiet and easy to catch and care for. He is gentle and well-behaved, loves attention and cuddles and is tolerant of children and will let them sit on him and ride in hand, but not suitable for a beginner to ride out of lead. He is a joy to ride and loves going out to new places. Harry responds well to confidence with kindness.

Harry would be best suited to a small adult looking for a beautiful pony to ride 3-5 times a week doing pleasure riding, trail riding, low grade pony club or adult riders. Due to Harry having laminitis earlier last year, he is unable to do hard riding but is sound and responds well to regular exercise. Harry’s laminitis was brought on due to developing cushings and a sensitivity to sugar. He is well managed by having limited access to lush pasture and being kept on a very low sugar diet with lots of roughage.

I have an almost toddler and I’m finding it impossible to keep up with both. This is a heart-break sale, but I would very much love to know that Harry is getting the love he deserves and is giving someone else as much joy as he has brought me. I’d love to hear from you if you are looking for a sweet, loveable horse and can offer Harry a forever home.
