I purchased beau off his breeder as a 3yo. He was broken in and did his first year under saddle (2013) as an official large Galloway where he had many successes. Multiple champions and reserves as well as a Finalist at the SHC Newcomers, Top 10 Large Galloway at EA HOTY and placed in his ridden classes at Perth Royal Show. Easily qualifies for Royals and HOTY. 

In 2014 Beau dabbled in some eventing ad showjumping where he placed at a few events and evented up to 80cm and SJ up to 1m before he had a small tear in his Gluteal whist in his paddock. Beau had some time off to recover and in that time I got other horses and didn’t have the time to compete him with multiple other horses to ride. The tear healed and he is sound and has been in full work for over a year now. 

In 2017 Beau was leased out to a friend of mine, a young mum getting back into riding after having time off after having her baby. They did some unofficial dressage together. 

Beau is only for sale as I am trying to downsize and have other young horses coming up and not enough hours in the day. 

He is great to float, shoe, worm etc. Great at the beach, indoors and out on the trails, walks on the buckle. Not phased by sheep, cattle, alpacas, traffic etc. Beau attended pony club with a young rider and was a dream. I took him to Gosnells dressage day recently where he won both his Prelim and Novice tests. 

Even though he is quiet and educated he is best suited to a competent teen or small adult wanting to do some show horse and dressage. Please no beginners or nervous riders.

$4500 with gear. Beau comes with a mountain of gear including all rugs, show rugs, boots, work bridle, show bridle, beach bridle etc
