Description

Wildwood Springtime aka Bambi is a 9 year old Australian Riding Pony mare, standing at 13.2 1/2hh. She is currently competing novice dressage and training elementary, always scoring in the high 60’s and coming home with a ribbon. She will happily give any discipline a go, however her hearts is in the dressage arena. Bambi has attended pony club for the last 3 years, and has competed in multiple dressage days and hack days, receiving many positive comments. Show jumped up to 70cm and evented E grade, where she was bold. She has lovely comfortable paces and a soft snaffle mouth. Bambi always tries to please, and does not buck, bolt or rear. Bambi recently attended the 2018 PCWA State Dressage Championship where she performed 6 lovely tests, placing in the top 4 for all tests with scores between 64 and 77%. She loves the indoor arena, and isn’t bothered by music, costumes or sharing the arena for Pas De Deux or Musical Rides. Bambi is a pleasure to handle, is great for the farrier and the dentist and respectful of her handler. She is good to catch, float or plait. Isn’t fussed by farm equipment or animals or children. She loves going for trail rides and to the beach, either alone or with others. Bambi is only for sale as I have sadly outgrown her. She would be suited to a confident child or small teenager wanting a competitive mount, but is not suited as a beginners mount.
