Pierre is an 8 yo Riding Pony gelding , who we have had since he was brocken in by his breeder . He would suit a young confident rider ready to move onto their second pony . Pierre has been bought along slowly by my daughter who was 9 at the start of his education, she is now 14 and unfortunately growing out of him . Pierre has had great success in the show ring and has won numerous broard ribbons including Albany Horsemen’s Large Pony of the year in 2016 and only last weekend winning Champion Large show pony at Albany Horsesmens show day in strong company. He has qualified for Great Southern Horse of the year for the last four years placing every year and he has had many other achievements throughout his showing career, too many to list. Pierre has attended pony club and has developed a love for jumping in the last 12 months proving he would be a very competitive Interschools mount as he is very brave and willing to learn. He has attended a Les Bunning school this year which he really enjoyed, he loves trail rides out around the farm proving himself very versatile. In February Pierre attended a fun day with our friend which was her first ever competition and did not put a hoof wrong. He then went on to win his section taking great care of his rider who is only 12 . Pierre has made a new friend Amelia she is 8 yrs old and has been coming and riding him at home and has taken him to a show and competed in First Ridden , he was perfect taking amazing care of his precious cargo , they made a great team bringing home lots of ribbons. Pierre is great to float , clip and have his feet done Pierre was Reserve Champion Large POTY for the AHA this year, he has competed against a very strong line up of ponies at the Mt Barker and Albany Ag shows coming away with very pleasing results ,qualifying for Great Southern HOTY doing a beautiful workout .
