The time has come to find our beautiful Welsh pony 'Emmie' a new home. Emmie is a 9yo 14hh Welsh D cob mare.  We have owned Emmie since she was a green broke 3yo.  We originally purchased Emmie as my horse, but she was quickly stolen by the kids. She has been the 1st ridden mount for all our girls after coming off their shetlands.  She has done many years of pony club, lots of show jump days, hack days, stockhorse and a few 45cm ODE's when the girls were younger.  Emmie has taught dozens of children and adults to ride. She would suit a knowledgable horsey home.  She is a big heavy pony, and she will quickly use her size to her advantage if not kept in check.  She is very food motivated.  She needs to be kept on a strict diet.  She would suit a number of riders including lead line and a 2nd pony for a confident child.  She would tolerate an unbalanced confident rider.  She is also a good size for an adults mount.  I don't think she would suit a timid rider. She is not a Grand Prix show jumper, but she puts in her best effort and gives the kids a good honest 60cm jumping round.  She is lovely to ride out by herself, or in a group.  Emmie has had 2 foals for us.  1 is a super pony clubber/show jumper, and one is a 2yo warmblood x, yet to be started.  We are retaining both her offspring. This is a super hard decision for our hole family.  Emmie is our all time favourite pony to jump on bareback with a halter and ha  ve some fun.  We are now ready to offer Emmie for sale for $8k including her gear.  We will consider a short trial period to approved home only.  Located Albany
