VERY SAD SALE…. I really don’t want to have to do this, but the daughter is growing and the pony isn’t so it’s time to face reality and admit it’s time for Raindrop to find someone else to have some fun with. She is a gorgeous 14yr old buckskin 12.2hh Welsh x pony. She is the sweetest thing and the bond she has with my daughter is amazing, she’ll try her heart out for her all day long. She isn’t dirty, but she can, and does, shy and while she jumps like a stag she does also refuse if she thinks you’re not committed to the jump… she’s definitely taught Lilly how to stick in the saddle over the last 18 months! She is good at coming back to the riders level, my non horsey 5yr old daughter can ride her solo around the yard and she’ll walk, trot, canter and even jump with total beginners and take care of them. But once she knows a more experienced rider is on board she expects them to actually be a rider and not just a passenger! Raindrop has been to PC, camps and plenty of clinics, lessons and showjumping days… she doesn’t get hot in new places and is good alone or with other horses. She is good to do anything with, my 9yr old daughter does all her handling and she’s never had a problem with her. I’d suggest she’d be better as a second pony rather than for a total beginner.
