With much heartache, we have decided to sell our beautiful pony Funky….

Funky is an exceptional all-round child’s hunter pony, having taken my daughter from a nervous 7 yr old leadliner to a confident 12yr old rider. Funky has done pony club, dressage, hacking, gymkhanas, games, jumping and cross country, always looking after his rider. He loves trail riding, out on his own or in a group. Funky also loves the beach and will go straight in to splash and play.

Funky is most suited for a confident young rider wanting to do dressage, pony club, hacking and jumping, as he loves to work. However, he would also make a great leadline pony, which he has done in the past.

Funky has competed successfully in Prep and Prelim Dressage as well as unofficial and pony club shows and gymkhanas, as well as SHC shows in Darwin and Darwin Royal, always coming home with ribbons. He also loves to jump and has also done PPMG, Polocrosse and placed top ten Barastoc with his previous owner. Funky is very smart, quick to learn and has a lot to offer any rider who wants to compete in a range of disciplines.

Funky is a gentle, kind hearted pony who loves cuddles and attention. He loves being part of a family and loved by children of all ages. He is great with dogs, and easy to float and for the farrier, dentist and vet. He loves being groomed and is easy to wash, clip and showprep.

Please be respectful and understand this is a very hard decision for us. We are only selling due to my daughter having outgrown him, otherwise he would have stayed in our family forever. No time wasters please.
