Raven is somebodys little dream horse.

*NO BEGINNERS!!*

She’s a very sweet natured little horse, a pleasure to have around. She is good to catch, rug, for farrier, ties up and good to hose and groom.

Raven is sensitive to the aids and still somewhat green so needs an experienced rider who can continue to further her education. She works in a correct novice frame if the rider knows how to ask for it, she has jumped to 75cm with scope to go higher though needs more education to jump consistently. Has jumped showjumps and logs out in the bush.

Raven gets her confidence from her rider so is not suitable to a nervous nelly rider. Has recently been ridden by a confident intermediate teen under an instructor for the last 12 months or so.

She has shown once and done well with a first, some seconds and thirds, and she has done loads of bush riding. Can be ridden alone or in a group (lessons and bush riding) however she is ‘looky’ when on her own. She has been to Pony Club and settled in after a few minutes and worked nicely.

Raven has given us a gorgeous black filly in 2016, went in foal first try (AI) with a textbook pregnancy and birth. She was an excellent mother and acted like she’d done it all before. The filly is sweet, friendly and very chilled out.

Raven is NOT suitable for nervous riders, beginners or novices. I am looking for an experienced home for her or at the very least a confident intermediate rider under a good coach and who already has good hands and an independent seat.

Genuine, reluctant sale. Currently in light work, and is up to date with feet, teeth, worming and vaccinations.
