Oscar – OTT. Bay 15.3hh Gelding 10 y. Oscar would suit a serious experienced show jumping family, as he is a very athletic clean jumper who easily clears 80cm in competitions, and has scope to go a lot higher (has trained fences to 120cm, and has jumped 95cm XC). Oscar has competed in numerous clear SJ competitions, and showman competitions to 80cm, even placing third in PCAWA State SJ Champs. With a confident experienced rider Oscar would easily go up the grades. This horse is such an athletic jumper, he can clear huge spreads, even from diagonal approach lines. Oscar has been ridden at PC for about three years now, and behaves well at PC for his teen rider. Last rally they had a bareback class, and did very smooth canter to walk, and walk to canter transitions with a lovely loping canter. Oscar loves going for a gentle canter along the beach in summer. Oscar needs an experienced rider though, and that is why he is for sale. He loves to have an important job to do like jumping, but becomes very lazy and cheeky with beginners. Nothing too sinister, just acts sour when beginners want to ride him. Easy to float, groom, feed, handle, a kind and loving horse with a huge appetite for hay and high jumps!
