Diego is a super easy, no fuss – get on and go kind of horse.

He is easy to do everything with -Clip,shoe,worm,wash etc, he’s also super respectful in regards to fencing. He will stay behind a hot tape and standard wire fence.

Diego is happy to be paddocked alone and in company. He is often bottom of the pecking order.

He has been well established on the flat and was sent away for professional classical schooling shortly after being broken in – he works well in a frame. He has beautiful straight and correct movement and is very reponsive.

Diego has dabbled in a bit of everything. He has barrel raced, tried Polo x, camp drafting, loves the beach and hacking on the farm, competitively SJ to 90cm, eventing over 70/80cm and with time and consistency could potentially go higher. Diego has jumped up to 1.05 at home with scope to go higher.

He is use to dogs (we have 10) our puppies run between his legs etc and he’s not worried, use to motorbikes as while I ride on the farm my little man follows on his 2 wheeler, use to tractors, sheep, cows etc etc he has been exposed to all areas of farm life

He is a super easy and cruisy ride although he can be strong so would not be suited to a complete beginner.

Diego’s owner had intended on keeping him as her forever horse, She purchased him as a yearling and has watched him grow into the handsome man he is today however due to personal circumstances she has no choice other than to sell him to someone who will be able to keep them as their forever horse as she had intended.

Diego has a couple of minor flaws which DO NOT affect him at all. He has been vetted for these  – this can be discussed further via PM and his price reflects this. He is a stage 3 roarer which doesn’t affect him but also means he will never be a 3* eventer, fine for low level SJ and Eventing etc and has a small malonoma under his tail and a growth on his neck. He  also has a superficial scar on his bum.
