Very sad sale of an honest all round mount.

Arwen or Ari as she is affectionately known, is a very pretty 5 year old thoroughbred mare who I believe would make a great PC/ showman / SJ mount for the right rider.

Arwen has no ridden vices, with a soft snaffle mouth. She rides in a very soft frame so requires a rider with sensitive hands, and listens well to the leg. She is a fairly easy ride in all areas, training up to 110cm consistantly at home (although has been tested up to 130cm and shows great scope) and learning her lateral movements in the dressage arena. Has been ridden alone and in groups and is always quiet and happy to be ridden on the buckle.

Ari has been to a few outings and has always come home with a ribbon, competing up to 90cm for her first shows with no hesitation. Arwen has never spooked at any type of fill and has a very clean, careful jump.

Ari is not marey in the slightest but can windsuck when stabled. Is great to float/trim/shoe/worm and handle in every way, although can still get nervy in new environments. Currently barefoot and up to date with all injections, worming and drenching.

Arwen would suit a confident, soft experienced rider who is willing to continue her education to take her to her full potential. she has had beginner riders on her and not put a hoof wrong.

Arwen is in work and will continue her education until sold, price may increase with further work. ****NO TRIALS OFF THE PROPERTY*****, although trials on the property are welcomed.

***update*** Arwen has had her first 100cm starts at Perth show jumping day, going beautifully clear despite a challenging course that asked a lot of hard questions. She also had her first taste of cross country training recently and showed talent and willingness in this area. Arwen will continue to be competed until sold. Price may increase with further education
