Description
Kenlock Divine Sky 4 yro Full Warmblood Black and White Pinto Stallion. Currently 16.1hh exp mature 16.2 maybe a little more. Devo is by Kenlock Indian Sky out of a IFS Don Frederico (Donnerhall) mare.
This sort of package does not come on the market very often but due to a change in my circumstances and future path I have decided it is far better for Devo to go to a new home to be fully utilised and commence a competition career. His sire has an impeccable temperament and is already successfully competing at Pr St George at only 9yrs old with Victorian rider Shanon McKimmie. All information and bloodlines are on the Kenlock Website.
His dam line is one of the most successful descending from one of the greatest sires ever in Donnerhall through his magnificent son Don Frederico. Simply search google and all information well come up on this premium awarded stallion who took out stallion of the year in germany.
I purchased him prior to birth on his dam line and sire. His sire carries the line of Samber who scored 10 out of 10 for his stallion licensing in germany and his dam carries the wonderful line of Donnerhall. I personally love the D line, so this combination for temperament first and foremost was what he was chosen on. He has developed into a very attractive stallion and has passed the first part of his stallion licensing with ACE last January. The second part would be this coming January where he will be assessed for temp, rideability and free jumping. There is no reason as to why he wouldn’t be successful in gaining full stallion accreditation.
Devo has a fantastic temperament and is easily handled by a woman for everyday and serving. His ground manners have been instilled since arriving from Victoria to me at only 8 months old. He has been schooled along the Clinton Anderson, Steve Brady lines and I was sitting on him as an 18month old. He is currently under saddle with Sean Smith and recently bought back into work (only had about 10 rides with no drama) after a 4 month break over winter. Prior to this he has only had about 20 rides so been left to mature mentally and physically.
He is a green youngster so only to an experienced competition home to continue his training correctly. Devo behaves more like a gelding on the ground but is still aware of girls so again only experienced, knowledgeable people for his benefit rather than yours.Ridden he does not have any vices but just some inattention as a young stallion but when corrected he gets on with the job. Working calmly, soft and forward in his work but not sensitive or nervous.
Devo has lovely loose paces and a natural extension with plenty of jump in the canter. Video footage is available of him being ridden over the last few weeks to serious enquiries.
He has one foal due in December and he did have another confirmed pregnancy from his second mare but unfortunately she has slipped but was pregnant on the one live cover, so fertility is good.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to purchase proven performance bloodlines, have a young horse where everything has been done correctly, an attractive package and an opportunity to stand at stud.
Seldom do Kenlocks come on the market and as a stallion, very rare.
Plse if your husband won’t let you, your circumstances are changing, you don’t have a bank balance, you arent experienced, you want to lease or anything else except purchase, please lets not waste each others time.
