DVZ Tolstoy is bred to event with superb genetics from both his dam and sire.
Dam is DVZ Querinda whon is by Quasimodo Z who has 3 Olympic competitors in his lines: Quidam de Revel x Carthago Z x Libero H.
Quesrinda's dam is DVZ Desiree who is by Dutchman imp Netherlands and out of Dancing Ash xx who is by Maitre de Dans x Jungle Boy. Highly desirable bloodlines for jumping / eventing.

Tolstoy's sire is my thoroughbred stallion Tchaikovsky DVZ (ASB: Destructive Action) who is strongly line bred and carries the X factor (large heart) via Princequillo in the dam line. Dams are the most important in breeding and Tchai is really strongly bred in his dam line.

Tolstoy is the modern elegant type, build for speed and showing suoper jumping technique. He has a large amount of through red which makes him perfect for eventing.

Desiree also produced DVZ Chevalier the 2-3* eventer with Emma King.
DVZ Debonaire is the full brother of Desiree. He was a 2* eventer and now a successful dressage horse in his latter years.
