Arlo – Lease Expressions of Interest

Arlo (or Mountain Lion) is a true gentleman and lovely natured 15.3hh thoroughbred gelding. At 14 years of age, he would make an ideal mount for an older competent teen or adult rider wanting a super all-rounder that has been there and done that. Arlo is forward moving and sensitive so is not suited to young or inexperienced riders. 

Arlo is a true all-rounder, with the looks for hacking, the education for dressage and the ability to jump. I have had the pleasure of owning and riding Arlo for 10 years now. Since this time he has had regular flatwork training under the instruction of Ian Stewart. He has well established lateral movements and 3 expressive paces. Arlo has competed up to Novice level dressage, but is training at elementary and above. He has also competed in some showjumping (up to 75cm) and eventing (up to 65cm). While he enjoys jumping, this is not my area of interest. He is bold through water and is not fazed by banks, ditches or fill. He has also attended clinics and adult riding clubs. 

He is perfect out on the trails and loves going to the beach. He is a kind, gentle natured thoroughbred with no vices. He has great ground manners and is easy to handle in every way. He is well natured with other horses and likes to be everyone’s best friend. 

Arlo is offered for off-property lease within the Perth Metropolitan area, due to absolutely no fault of his own. I am looking for the very best of homes for Arlo where he will be loved and cherished as he is a very special, one of a kind TB. He is a sensitive sole and would excel with a gentle but confident rider.
