Oscars dam comes from excellent youth, hus, reining cutting and campdrafting lines. His sire also comes from good working lines and his offspring have made a good name for themselves as versatile family and youth horses. With natural elastic movement and strength, as well as an honest and likeable personality, Oscar should perform well in most western events. or for someone who wants to experiment with dressage, arc etc. With some more experience under his belt, he would also make an excellent youth horse. Oscar has been handled by experienced people from birth, has been taught to lead, tie, load, float, trim, worm etc from the start. He was lightly started with some in-hand outings at clinics and casual bush riding as a 4yo, and is currently completing 6wks professional training with BC Horse Training to ensure he has all the buttons necessary to start his new career. Sound both physically and mentally, Oscar is a real character and a very genuine horse who gets along well with both humans and other horses. Oscar has had the hard yards done and we will be sorry to see him go.
