SOLD, pending payment This is exceedingly hard to do, but I have put it off long enough…my daughter’s beautiful, experienced, and kind pony now needs to be moved onto the next home, as she has well and truly been out-grown. Minnie is a 13.2 hand Riding Pony x Arabian mare, chestnut with flaxen mane and tail, who has just turned 17 years old. She is a “been there and done that” pony. She has done years of Pony Club, Endurance, Hunter Trials, Tetrathlon, Games, Novelties, Handy Pony…she has done it all and always in the ribbons. She would suit a first ridden or second pony. She is forward moving but adjusts herself to her rider and will happily plod along if asked. My daughter has competed up to 65 cm jumping with her, but she does need an experienced and confident rider over fences as she can be looky at fill. She just needs her rider to be able to close their leg to a scary fence. That being said, she is wonderful for teaching kids the basics over low pole fences, will jump them all day long. She absolutely loves the trails and going out and about. Perfectly safe in new environments. If Mum wants a safe pony to pop the kid on to ride out with her on the trails, or to the river for a swim, or the ocean, then this is the pony. Minnie is not marey, always looks after herself in the paddock, and easy to have around. I am looking for a long-term, loving home for Minnie. I will not sell her to anyone that plans on passing her along in a year or two. She is a typical pony and loves her food and needs a home that can commit to maintaining her weight and sugar levels. She is NOT for lease, so PLEASE do not ask. She comes with her fitted Wintec saddle, bridle, and all of her rugs. I am happy to answer any and all questions and also to allow several rides (on my property only) to make sure it is the right fit for everyone involved.
