Clare Downs Enwedig Rhifyn aka Rhifyn is a rising 5yr old pure bred Welsh D standing at 14.2hh by Trapalanda Downs Imprint out of Pen-nant Black Bess. I bought Rhifyn straight from the breeder in 2017 with a handful of rides under his belt. This year has been his first year out competing which has showcased his bright future. His top results included: •Southern Solstice Dressage - (First ever event) High Point Young Pony & Reserve Prep Champion with scores of 64% •Capel CNC – Ev45 – 3rd •GSZ ODE – 45 – 1st •Murray ODE – 45 - 1st •PCAWA State Showjumping - clear and 5th in the welcome stakes 60cm •King River Dressage - scored over 60% in both Novice tests •Kalgoorlie ODE – 45 – 2nd •Kellerberrin ODE – 45 – 1st •Encourage Hunter Galloway at 3 of the hack days we competed at •Runner Up Encourage Hunter Galloway of the Year •2018 PCAWA E grade Eventing Leadboard Winner •2018 AHA High Point Encourage Hunter Hack Rhifyn is a super pony who has a lovely snaffle mouth in all phases. He has been competing Novice dressage, E Grade Eventing and up to 80cm Showjumping. He shows great scope when jumping, has trained up to 95cm with scope to jump higher. He has lovely movement, definitely more woah than go - usually ridden with spurs to save your legs. Being a young pony he can have his cheeky baby moments and occasionally gets excited when going into the canter however this only is shown by one maybe 2 pigroots. Being such a solid pony he can be ridden by a range of riders. I'm 5'7 and he carries me around easily. He has been ridden by ages 9-12 off lead and will happily go along at their speed. My boss’ 12yr old daughter loves taking him around over jumps and has no problems with him. Rhifyn keeps his weight on very easily, he's easy to ride out alone, catch, trim, worm, wash however his only downfall is he can scramble in the float so would be best suited to a truck or an angle load unless you wanted to try float train. I'm open to offers due to time restraints and just want to see him being used and enjoyed however home is very important so am in no rush to sell!
