GREAT owner wanted for GREAT mare.  Beautiful confirmation and lovely movement, with nice elevation (straight forelegs, no dishing). Gem was doing passage and piaffe at a day old and is a ‘master’ of flying changes as she learns how to self-correct and balance herself at canter under saddle.

Gem has a friendly, gentle nature and a wonderful eye. Well ground-schooled, she has beautiful in-hand manners with no bite or kick and hard-ties safely.  Gem floats well in the double, straight-loader I have, with no scrambling or fuss on long journeys, both alone and with a friend.

Sadly unshown (I wish!) simply because I am time-poor. Gem is microchipped and eligible for registration with the AFWHS (papers done, just not sent).

A bold presence, high-energy with natural grace, Gem is accepting of her rider, self-rounding and balancing herself on a loose rein.

Gem is green-broken, have recently been started by the talented Sam Jones, so she is a ‘clean slate’ of potential for an experience, calm and patient rider to continue to mould.

She is physically sound (vet check is welcome, at your cost of course) and vaccinated.  She has brilliant feet, having been trimmed regularly (6 weekly) since birth by an outstanding barefoot farrier. He teeth are good with no confirmation problems or decay; a full report is provided from her last maintence in March 2018.

A difficult sale as I had a life-time plan for Gem, including breeding, however life changes plans.  Please only enquire if a genuine, experienced and knowledgeable home is offered.

Comes with a winter combo rug, cotton sheet and fitted bridle.
