Description
Springfield Aoki
$14,000 ONO
3yo rising 4yo Gelding born December 2014
Currently standing at approx. 15.2hh. Eligible for registration with Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA)
Aoki was bred with power and potential in mind. Both bloodlines have proven talent and he will be no exception. He has been allowed to grow up properly out in a paddock for the first 3 years of his life with basic ground work applied. He is currently being long reined and having more work done on him by Crystal Shelley who is happy to be contacted with any questions regarding his education and trainability. He is proving to be extremely easy to educate and has a calm approach to the challenge. He loads on and off the float with no complications, ties up, is good to rug, trim worm etc. Aoki is up to date on all worming, teeth, feet, vaccinations and has recently been clipped.
I was meant to bring Aoki on myself as my first young horse project however my circumstances have dramatically changed and I am no longer riding. It was a very difficult decision to let this guy go however I know it is in his best interest to find a new home to start his journey as what will no doubt be a seriously competitive horse for the future.
BREEDING INFORMATION
Sire: Luidam. Luidam is a multiple Grand Prix winning show jumper and a HSI 5* rated stallion based on this own performance, as well as the performance of his progeny. Luidam was one of the most consistent performers on the European circuit and descends from a great lineage. His sire, Guidam, was from one of the strongest stallion lines in the breeding of jumping horses, the Ibrahim-Alme-Jalisco B Quidam de Revel line. Luidam’s dam, Eljenohve, was a ‘Pref Elite’ KWPN mare and from this dam line hail Orsini (international eventing winner), Scandic (international dressage winner and sire) and Ludger Beerbaum’s Chaman, one of the world’s most successful show jumpers. Dam: Bromley Park Morning Spring. ‘Spring’ is a Holsteiner mare by BBD Fortune. She has produced some exceptionally talented horses most notably World Cup Showjumper Akon who was ridden by David Dobson. All of Spring’s progeny are proving to be extremely trainable and talented, Aoki is certainly no expection.
Dam Sire: Barrabadeen Fortune. Holsteiner Stallion, international Grand Prix Dressage competitor who was successfully campaigned by Marjory Radford in Dressage in Australia before he was exported to the USA where he was renamed Titan. Titan competed in dressage and Showjumping in the US. His scores for free jumping were a 9 from the American Warmblood Registry, and ‘outstanding’ from the Belgian Warmblood Assocaiton and a perfect 10 from the Rheinland Pfalz Saar International
