It is with a heavy heart I am writing his add but the time has come for me to consider selling my beautiful boy ‘Memphis’.

Memphis is a 12 year old 17.3 hh tb gelding out of black friars. He had a short unsuccessful racing career.

I have had memphis for 4 years, but unfortunately due to work and study commitments he is just not getting the time he deserves and he has too much potential to be a paddock ornament.

I’m not an overly competitive person but when I have had him out we competed up to 95, but at home he jumps 1.4m with ease and can go higher!

Regardless of his size he is an absolute gentle giant! He is the type of horse that loves his one on one attention and is happier in work rather than out of work.

He has the personality that you can leave him for weeks and then get back on him and he is a gentleman. I run a small scale riding school and he has also been used in some of my lessons.

He is great in the bush, either on his own or with company, great with traffic, good to float, shoe, worm, handle…. good with dogs and kids, happy to be paddocked alone or with company (geldings or mares)

He is respectful of fences and has no vices.

He has an absolutely beautiful presence, 3 lovely paces, and natural talent for jumping. Amazing presence and a head turner when you are out!

with the right rider he has the potential to take them to the top!

I would love to see him go to an eventing or hunting home!
