Kazzbah - Bay Arabian gelding, 16 hands, 16 years (Andaman x Naharija). Kaz is a sweet and gentle fellow, with a beautiful head and long legs. Easy to float, trim or shoe and handle. He is light and responsive with a wonderful slow rocking horse canter. He is fantastic with traffic, and trucks and motorbikes don't bother him. He has had plenty of experience in the bush and does not normally shy. Kaz has completed a number of 20 km and 40 km endurance rides, although he has been taking it easy and only ridden occasionally since injuring a ligament some four years ago. He has been completely sound for the last two years, although I wouldn't recommend him for 80 km endurance rides. Kaz is a typical Arab, and gets frisky if he hasn't been ridden for a while. If hes left in the paddock for months and then taken out for a canter, he is likely to give a little buck during the canter, however he has never been able to unseat myself or my husband. Therefore I wouldn't recommend him for an ameteur rider unless they are only interested in walking and trotting. We have started riding him again in the last month and after just two rides he doesn't buck at all, his manners are faultless. As you can see, I have been completely honest about this horse, there are no surprises. I'm more concerned that he is matched to the right owner. Up to date with teeth, worming and feet. Also willing to sell his saddle, which is a treeless Barefoot Cherokee saddle, and fits him well. Reluctant sale as owner is interested in progressing in endurance riding. Trials concidered.
