Description
Sadly I have had to make the hard decision to sell George. He is a bright bay 6year old tb x Australian pony, standing at about 15hh. I got George four years ago as a two year old and have gone on to participate in all aspects of pony club while mainly focusing on eventing.
I have evented George up to Eva95 and show jumped 1m confidently and he rarely finishes out of the top ten even in the largest classes. He is a cross country machine and has not ever had a stop and easily makes time (he is such a reliable, confident jumper that time is the only thing rider has to focus on) without being strong. Ridden all three phases in a snaffle. Extremely confident with all jump types and loves water.
He is the boldest, quietest and most reliable horse and also makes a fantastic pony club mount. He is as happy to participate in novelties, camp drafting and cushion polo as he is to do jumping and flat work. Loves a swim in the dam and is happily ridden in a halter bare back. You always know that you will go out and have fun on George and be perfectly safe no matter the atmosphere.
He is fantastic to catch, trim (barefoot and really good strong hooves), clip (I have done hunter clips myself with no twitch or sedation), plait (falls asleep) and float ( loads on anything and used to 3+ hour trips). Great to pony off and have cantered around with another pony in tow. Nothing at all phases this boy, if something interests him he will investigate rather than shy, he is very inquisitive. No separation issues and can make friends with anyone. Even when he first started competing he was the calming horse we would take out to help other more nervous horses. Very easy and stress free to take out and will stand at the float all day.
George is a huge character and will put his all into everything. He just loves life, making every activity enjoyable. George is however a bit cheeky and pushy on the ground but this is not a problem with a firm handler. He is also not a school master as he is only 6 so is not for beginners only confident experience rider, he still has the potential to learn a lot. I also believe he could easily go Eva105 eventing but have not pushed it due to his age and letting him mature.
He is super healthy and sound. He is extremely low maintenance only getting a handful of hard feed. Never had a lame day in his life. He has however had a paddock accident as a 2year old which has left him with a scar on his side. It is not very noticeable, causes no problems and is covered by the saddle blanket and girth when ridden. He is up to date with the dentist, vaccines and the farrier. He is life time EA registered, has a 2018 eventing license and is microchipped.

This is a truely sad sale as I have had him since the start of his ridden career but I now have way too many horses and need to cut back before I move for uni. I would love to keep him as he is just so reliably fun but with two other eventers he will be left out. George just loves going out and being part of the team and I am sure he will give another experience, confident child/ teen the same awesome experiences.
